Cleaning Tips

Before First Use
Wash each piece of new Saladmaster cookware in your sink using warm soapy water that contains 1 cup vinegar. This removes all traces of manufacturing oils and polishing compounds. Rinse in clear, hot water and dry well with a clean non-abrasive towel.

Fill pan with warm, soapy water and let soak while you eat.  It will clean much easier when you are ready to wash the unit.

Use a moist paper towel and Saladmaster Powder Cleaner cleanser to remove stains. A sponge or cloth will absorb the Saladmaster Powder Cleaner and will not work. Wet the unit with warm water, then drain all excess water before sprinkling a small amount of Saladmaster Powder Cleaner in unit.  Use circular motion, from outside in, like a record player. This will help eliminate scratch marks.

Create a thin paste with your Saladmaster Powder Cleaner on the paper towel before cleaning the mirror finish on top of your lids and the sides of your units.  This will avoid scratching the mirror finish.

If you’ve burned something, bring 2-inches of water to a boil on medium-high heat for ten (10) minutes.  Let cool, then clean with your Saladmaster Powder Cleaner cleanser.  If boiling doesn’t work, remove handles and spray unit with oven cleaner.  Avoid spraying on the rim.  Place in paper bag for 30 minutes.  Rinse with HOT water and polish with your Saladmaster Powder Cleaner and a moist paper towel.

Do not use steel wool to clean the outside of your unit and top of your lids. It will scratch the finish. Only use steel wool on the interior to clean.
